The Little Big Festival is committed to be an inclusive event that everyone can attend and enjoy. Please don’t hesitate to email us if any of your questions aren’t answered in the below information.
The Little Big Festival is situated on farm land and the camping areas and arena are on grass. This can be a little uneven and hilly in places. We will have people on hand to assist with vehicles should you need help although in wet weather vehicles may also have difficulty in getting around too. The area around the barns where workshops/ food and some entertainment will be located is on a hardstanding so should be easily accessible for all.
There will also be disabled access toilets available at the festival.
CARER/ PERSONAL ASSISTANT TICKETS
We recognise that some festival-goers require access for a carer or personal assistant. We offered free Carer/Personal Assistant tickets to those who are over 16 years of age and in receipt of one of the following:
Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility
Receipt of Enhanced Rate Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Or Registered Deaf or Blind
Any other requests are discretionary
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to apply for a carer /personal assistant ticket. We ask that you send proof of the above criteria with a copy of photo id with your request.
We welcome assistance dogs on site by prior arrangement. Please contact us so that we can provide you with a pass beforehand.
ACCESSIBLE CAMPSITE PITCHES
The Accessible Campsite is next to the main festival arena. Space is strictly limited and must be agreed in advance. To ensure space is allocated fairly and efficiently we are allocating pitches – by doing this we can make sure we comfortably accommodate everyone who successfully applies for space.
Entrance/exits should be 1m clear of your neighbour within these limits.
Please email email@example.com to apply for an accessible pitch. With a weekend ticket these will be free for tents and £40 for campervan or Caravans. They will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
ACCESSIBLE CAR PARKING
There will be a drop off point on site if required for wheelchair users. We are also operating a park and ride service from South Dartmoor College. This site has good, flat access and we will be able to transport people with mobility issues.
There will be very limited accessible parking on site and is only available by prior arrangement. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org
ACCESS TO BARS
We have an open area at the end of the main ‘Ace of Clubs’ bar where will be able to serve customers in wheelchairs if required. If access to the bars is not possible during busy times please notify a member of staff and they will be happy to help.
If you feel that you may need assistant during your time at the festival we would appreciate if you could email us on email@example.com beforehand to help us give you best possible assistance and experience at the festival.
