Step into the psychedelic pop world of this truly global band

’Daemonik Fonce is a celebration, kind of like where we’re from,’ says band member Paul Summers. When you learn that means Brazil, Wales, Sweden and Devon, you know you’re in for a collision of influences. And, sure enough, imagine a combo of the pure pop of Abba and Buzzcocks, the 70’s psychedelia of Hawkwind, the gentlefolk of Fairport Convention and the synthesiser swirl of Suicide. The band has been garnering rave reviews on recent tours, and a review from the Arts Desk describes Daemonik Fonce thus: ‘Their real appeal is insouciant rock’n’roll sass, as if they were designed for a burlesque post-modern biker bar in an early Tarantino movie’. We can’t wait!
