The Velvet Hands

Cornish slacker rockers The Velvet Hands have done a lot for ones so young.

Cornish slacker rockers The Velvet Hands have done a lot for ones so young. They have supported Liam Gallagher, Paul Weller, Frank Turner and The Bluetones; headlined stages at The Isle of Wight and Y Not Festivals and sold out national tour dates. At Radio 1, their debut album Party's Over was Album of The Week for Huw Stephens while Steve Lamacq on 6 Music has championed the band, as has BBC Introducing. The band have a formidable live reputation: NME described them as "full of bolshie spirit" and Gigslutz said of their live performance: "Jaw-droppingly good".
